St. Joan Antida High School collecting new stuffed animals to help comfort a child who encounters a crisis situation

For 8 consecutive years, the GO MAD (Go Make A Difference) organization at St. Joan Antida High School has been collecting new stuffed animals to help comfort a child who encounters a crisis situation. Each cuddly friend will be given to police and fire officials to give to children who need comfort in an emergency situation (accident, abuse, neglect situation, etc.).

GO MAD serves as the Student Council at St. Joan’s. Members are students who have demonstrated school spirit, leadership, responsibility and willingness to get involved. Additional activities of GO MAD include food and personal needs drives, beautification projects, pep rallies, class competitions, scavenger hunts and many more.

SJA is the only truly diverse girls' urban high school in Milwaukee. Founded by the Sisters of Charity more than fifty years ago, it is committed to providing programs focusing on learning, leadership and service.
